About the Photographer

Every session is built around a set I create by hand. You might be photographed sitting on the moon, wrapped in angel wings, tucked into a vintage cabin, or surrounded by flowers. These are real, physical spaces, not backgrounds added in later, and that is what gives the photographs their feeling.

I photograph families, children, couples, and pets. Each session is relaxed and a little playful, and you are welcome to bring your own ideas. Clothing is provided if you would like it.

The result is artwork. Not a photo you scroll past, but an image worth printing, framing, and living with.

About

When I was 13 years old, I signed up for a darkroom class that was offered as an after school activity.  The first time I saw  the image come through in the tray of  developer, I knew I was hooked.  I studied  photography at university and after, and more recentlyI learned the craft of editing in Photoshop .  I still feel the same excitement every time I see an image I have created come to life on my screen.  

I started my first photography studio in the garage of my home in Burlington.  and later opened a store front studio in Oakville.  I stepped away for a few years to pursue other interests, but I always knew I would return to photography.                            

I believe a good photograph is one of the most valuable treasures a person can own.  My goal is to give you that.

I am happy to be returning to the studio, in beautiful  Oakville, and I look forward to creating thoughtful, creative, and whimsical photos with you. :)
